PART 6, PRAYER OF PETITION AND SUPPLICATION .
Petition (df.) A Plea, A Request, A Demand.
Supplicate (df.) To request, to petition, to beg, to entreat, to beseech
Scripture Text: Philippians 4:6
We were originally going to start with the Prayer of Adoration and Blessings; however, the Holy Spirit shared in Prayer and Meditation time to begin with the Prayer of Petition and Supplication.
This Form of Prayer is a plea, a demand, a formal and serious request for the Petitioner. It is similar to the Prayer of Intercession. The difference between the Prayer of Petition and Supplication versus the Prayer of Intercession is that the Prayer of Petition and Supplication is more on a Personal Level, and the Prayer of Intercession is interceding on the behalf of another.
The Prayer of Petition and Supplication places a direct demand on Father,
God through Jesus and the Holy Spirit to take an urgent concern from the Petitioner immediately. This Form of Prayer is usually pouring out one's heart or spirit unto the Lord in regard to an urgent an important matter.
A real good example of the Prayer of Petition and Supplication is when Jesus was on the Cross, and He cried out to Father, God on being forsaken (Matthew 27:45-46). The Prayer of Petition and Supplication is more personal in nature. This Form of Prayer deals with the intimacy between the Believer and Father, God through Christ Jesus.
Again, we want to learn to pray unto Father through Jesus, by understanding and applying the proper forms of Prayer so that we are not asking amiss or not following after the Pattern of Jesus, our Lord and Savior. In times like these, we need to bear our souls to Father, God.
We need to cry out to Him on constant basis, and stay being His Beloved Ones through Christ Jesus.

PART 7, PRAYER OF INTERCESSION.
INTERCESSION (DF.) Comes from the word "Intercede"; which means to Stop, to Hinder, to Catch, to Seize, to Cut Off, to Be a Hinderance.
As we continue our series on Developing a Strong and Consistent Prayer Life, our next form of Prayer is the Prayer of Intercession. We are called to be Intercessors in the Body of Christ. We know how to pray for ourselves and others with a genral prayer; however there are times when we need to become Intercessors when Spiritual Warfare has picked up in the Heavens, and manifesting itself on the Earth Plane. In the Book of Ephesians, Chapter 6, Verses 10-19, Apostle Paul explains to us the Levels of Warfare we are dealing with: 1. First, we are to Be Strong in the LORD, and in the Power of His Might, not our will or might, but His Might through Christ Jesus. 2. We need to then Put on the Whole Armor of God Daily, that we are able to Stand Against the Schemes of satan daily. We are not to be ignorant of satan's devices. He has a plan and strategy for each person to steal, kill, and destroy our lives (John 10:10). 3. Our daily fight is not against Physical Flesh, but what is coming through the Physical Flesh/Body and occupying it. Level One is Principalities, Level Two is Powers, Level Three is Rulers of the Darkness in this World, Level Four is Spiritual Wickedness in High Places. We will go in more detail on these levels at another time. 4. The Armor Suit , we are to put on each day to Stand in the Evil Day, and to Keep Standing are the following:
a) Loins established with God's Truth. We deal with the Truth of God, not the Facts of Man.
b. Breastplate of God's Righteousness. We learn and apply His Righteousness by the Example and Life of Christ Jesus.
c. Our Feet, are Ready and Prepared to Tell the Whole Word about the Gospel of Peace through Jesus.
d. Above All, Have the Shield of Faith to fight against all the fiery and wicked darts that satan will come at us daily.
e. Helmet of Salvation. Keep Salvation and Deliverance around our head area. Satan will attack the mind with
Thoughts, Ideas, and Suggestions.
f. Sword of the Spirit = The Word of God.
g. Prayer, using all the Forms of Prayer and Supplication in the Spirit, Watching with Perservance (without stopping) for All Saints=The Power of Intercession.
As Prayer Intercessors, through the Power of Father, God, Jesus and the Holy Spirit, we have been given authority in the Spiritual Realm to Stop, Hinder, Catch, Seize, Cut Off, any attacks that satan or his demons will use to steal, kill, or destroy those we are interceding for on a particular manner. Armor Up, Don't Give Up on the God and His Kingdom, and Don't Ever Quit!
Scriptures on Intercession: Romans 8:25-27, Romans 8:25-39, and Hebrews 7: 21-28.
